Peel Street recently welcomed a new member that officially launched mid November! Say hello to 2nd & 6th where they encourage you to indulge and sin. That’s right the 2nd and 6th deadly sins are in fact gluttony and sloth so eat to your heart’s content and laze the day away at your pleasure.
Upon first look you will find Renaissance paintings on the wall, very classic with golden frames. First impressions had me thinking the food would be French or French Vietnamese given owner Hugh Nguyen’s background. In actual fact it was more a mixed modern European menu with a slight focus on French and North Italian food with dishes like Lobster Roll, Suppli (a Roman rice ball dish NOT arancini) and Steak Tartare. Check out the sneak peek of some dishes we got to sample at the opening.
2nd & 6th will be offering all day brunch from 7.30am-3pm seven days a week before it turns into a dessert place and bar on Wednesday to Saturday nights. Whether it’s brunch or dessert you’re after Peel Street has a new spot for you now.
Disclaimer: Foodie Ling was invited to 2nd & 6th as guests
