Here in South Australia we love our wine and are proud of our beautiful wine regions. This October Long Weekend the McLaren Vale Spring Affair Festival is back for the third time. Imagine the warm sun, gorgeous vineyards, rolling hills, clear blue skies and amazing wine. Throw in some live music and delicious food and you have yourself a picture perfect day in SA.
The festival will be held at three wineries – Coriole Vineyards, Paxton Wines and Maxwell Wines. You can stay at one winery all day or travel across all three. If nobody wants to be the designated driver not to worry. Join an organised Spring Affair tour! Coopers Alehouse Gepps Cross, Haçienda, Ramsgate Hotel, Seven Stars Hotel, The Havelock Hotel, The Maid Hotel, The Original Coopers Alehouse, The Prince Albert Hotel and The Stag Adelaide are offering a package including a bus there and back, entry to three wineries and more so do contact them for details and tickets.
On Sunday October 2nd, Paxton Wines will have local food by Cargo Catering Co, Taste of Spain, and Coffee & Crepes while you bask in the warm sun rocking to music by Full Circle. Meanwhile at Maxwell Wines there’s an Oyster & Bubbles Bar to get you started before digging in to some Italian street food from Mangia, Mangia by Andre Ursini. Relax and cool down with Sunshine Ice Blocks after dancing away to popular hits from the 80’s right through to current day party tunes.
At Coriole Vineyards, Troy Loakes Trio and Flavour Stone DJs will be your entertainment for the day.
