We’ve long been a fan of Fork on the Road ever since it first started and over the years as the number of food trucks and patrons grew. While the last Forkmas event unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the unkind heat, we are pretty sure the weather will be kind for this one. A long summer and early days of Autumn, I think we will have a fabulous night.
It is said that the Fork Awakens on the evening of April 1st between 5pm-10pm at Light Square in the city. The much loved food truck event will be made better with over South Australian craft beers and ciders to accompany your delicious chow following on from the tremendous success of Crafty Beer Fork. They have Swell, Pirate Life, Smiling Samoyed, Big Shed, Wheatsheaf, Clare, BV Brewing, Prancing Pony, Hills Cider, Lobo Cider just to name a few.
As for food, choices are aplenty with vendors like Burger Theory, Chimichurri Grill, La Chiva, Cheesy Street, Moorish Bites, Sookii La La, Cargo Catering Co, Four Seeds, Gourmet Grillerz, Papas Hotdogs, Taste of Spain, Tacocat and many more. I last counted 28 food trucks.
Head on down this Friday April 1st, support some local businesses, say hi at your favourite stalls or try something new. Eat, drink and music, what better way to end the work week!
