Double Cheeseburger – Double beef, double cheese, pickles, onion, mustard, sauce
Nothing beats a classic cheeseburger done well, there should be no lack of flavour, lost flavours or sense of missing elements. This burger was absolutely brilliant. Starting with the patty, lovely chargrilled flavour, well seasoned, cooked to medium and still pink the middle. Juicy great quality beef. The rest of the burger? No ingredient is lost, with each bite we could taste the sour hit of the pickle, then fragrant onion with mustard and sauce at first. Then when the chewing starts, the cheese and beef between soft mildly sweet bread really come through and linger. We’ve had a lot of burgers with plenty of ingredients slapped on but very often a couple of ingredients are overpowering or some ingredients can’t even be tasted in a complete bite.
