|Kimchi Fried Rice Ingredients|
- Heat the oil in a non stick pan. If you have peanut oil (and don’t have a peanut allergy), do use it as it is more fragrant. Ensure you keep the stove on high heat.
- Next, saute the chopped onions until soft and add your choice of meat to the pan. Lightly stir until meat is completely cooked.
- Pour the cold rice into the pan and mix well with onions and meat. Next add the kimchi and soy sauce. Stir fry for about 2 minutes or until hot and well mixed.
- Now comes the egg. I like to create a well in the middle of the fried rice and pour the beaten egg into the well then push the egg around a little so that it starts cooking. When it is about half cooked, push the rice in and stir fry for another 3 minutes until well mixed.
