I am a peanut butter fanatic, actually both Mr. Foodie and I are, so you can imagine how excited I was to try the Blessed & Luckyrange of nut spreads. I have previously been a fan of their dressings and mayonnaise so I had a good feeling about this new range.
There are three varieties in this range of nut spreads: Sweet Honey, Cinnamon Spice and Maple Bliss. Cinnamon Spice was the first one we cracked open. I always love the smell of cinnamon, reminds me of Christmas. The nut spread is made from roasted peanuts with real crushed cinnamon sticks. It was like eating peanut butter with cinnamon sugar! A few days later half the jar was gone, I’m thinking Mr. Foodie’s been having Cinnamon Nut Spread on toast every morning (and possibly for snacks).
Sweet Honey Nut Spread is a blend of roasted peanuts with sweet honey while Maple Bliss Nut Spread was blended with real maple syrup. This was actually my personal favourite, especially with apple slices. I should try and make a milkshake out it!
These nut spreads are a good change up from peanut butter and Nutella. They are on the sweeter side compared to peanut butter but definitely delicious and versatile. I’m already thinking pancakes with nut spread and bananas, cinnamon spice nut spread cupcakes, brownies, cookies…..yummy!
Blessed & Lucky Nut Spread range is available from Coles, Woolworths and independent stockists at $4.99 each.
