The menu was really quite generous and the ingredients were definitely fresh so there we were, happily grilling yummy food. The chicken thighs, pork belly and beef ribs come marinated too if you like a bit of flavour. It was a pretty fun night, you do have to excuse the smog filled room from everybody chargrilling food.

Not surprisingly we booked in for opening night. Shabu Shabu is a Japanese hotpot where traditionally thinly sliced beef is cooked at the table in boiling broth flavoured with seaweed or ponzu. The Shabu Shabu buffet menu offers pretty much the same thing as the BBQ Buffet menu but thinly sliced Wagyu Beef, Blue Swimmers Crab, Black Pig Loin, Black Pig Belly, Sashimi, Salmon Fillets and a variety of mushrooms were the additions to this premium menu.
